Yoga online with Jo has enabled me to reassess and work on my posture, balance and strength in a relaxed, positive way. I now know why yoga is so good.

I thoroughly enjoy doing yoga with Jo. As a beginner she makes yoga feel accessible and not overwhelming. She explains everything clearly and I always feel much better after her classes.

A Little Introduction
All about me!
As a palliative care nurse with a degree in physiology, I have a passion for nursing and for facilitating the very specific learning for nurses, doctors, therapists and volunteers in the NHS. I now use all of the skills I have learnt with regard to education alongside my knowledge of yoga and teacher training to facilitate weekly yoga classes. I love teaching and working with my yoga students to help them achieve their aims for the session and realise the benefits of a regular yoga practice.
I began my own journey 12 years ago. After starting Iyengar yoga at my local leisure centre, I quickly found I loved the peace and quiet, and the time to concentrate on my own body, breathing and the ability to find balance and restoration on the mat.
I am a firm believer in the need for compassionate communities. It is a rare thing if any of us are unaffected by loss and bereavement. For those of you who are feeling particularly raw please consider the “yoga for those experiencing loss” class.
For all of us
“Within stillness and space we can work out what it is we feel and what it is that we may want to do next” - Ruth Allen.
I look forward to seeing you in class.....

Jo is a fantastic teacher. As well as being very knowledgeable about the discipline, she has a warm and open approach that makes all feel welcome. I would strongly recommend her classes to anyone looking to improve their bodily health, no matter their experience with yoga.

The regular classes have been great for me as a climber - I often neglect flexibility but it's hugely important on the wall, and yoga is great at keeping my core strength up too, especially during lockdown when I haven't been able to climb at all. The classes are well paced and easy for inexperienced people like me to follow along with.
